High Five Certification Program (ages 14+)

HIGH FIVE®:
HIGH FIVE® is a global quality standard for recreation and sport developed by Parks and Recreation Ontario with the support and endorsement of the Province of Ontario. Since its inception in 1994, the HIGH FIVE® standard and related tools, training materials and processes have been continually refined with input from sport and recreation professionals as well as experts in fields of healthy child development, quality assurance and quantitative and qualitative research.
 
HIGH FIVE® is Canada’s comprehensive quality standard for organizations that provide recreation and sport programs for children aged 4 to 12 and adults 55+.

HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Childhood Development
Experience the Principles of Healthy Child Development training – your guide for connecting with children aged four to twelve, rooted in extensive research and hands-on experience; become a Caring Leader, shaping their experience to prioritize quality programs, ensuring children not only grow but develop within their abilities.

HIGH FIVE PHCD – QUEST 2
PHCD – QUEST 2: Program Assessment Tool for Children’s Programs (PHCD).
This scientifically validated HIGH FIVE® tool is used to examine, measure, and assess the extent to which programs for children, aged 4 to 12, promote healthy child development.

Pre-requisite: HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Childhood Development (PHCD)
